2011 Contributions

American Heart Association - Portland Heart Ball
The AHA's mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. The Portland Heart Ball celebrated the AHA's mission, their donors and volunteers, and most importantly, the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. SK&H attorneys attended the event, and we are proud to support such a worthy cause.

Central Oregon Wild Horse Coalition
The Coalition's board of directors and volunteers have proven their dedication to and capability for helping wild horses in Central Oregon

Child Centered Solutions
A non-profit founded by Jody Stahancyk in 2006, CCS gives representation to children in divorce cases so that judges can make determinations in the best interest of the child. SK&H provides CCS with office space, IT and marketing assistance, and even event planning.

Crook County Foundation
The CCF is a tax-exempt non-profit organization that supports scholarship, leadership and arts in Crook County.

Miller Elementary School PTO

An organization dedicated to historical preservation that has been operating the A.R. Bowman Memorial Museum in downtown Prineville, OR, since 1971.

Dress For Success
Dress for Success provides disadvantaged women with professional clothing and mentoring in order to help them advance themselves professionally and economically. Managing shareholder Laurel Hook has organized an annual Dress for Success drive every year since 2003.

Deschutes County Bar Association
Comprised of members in good standing of the Oregon State Bar who live or work in Deschutes County.

Greater Bend Rotary
Raise and distribute funds to build parks, assist children focused programs through Boys and Girls Club, Volunteers in Medicine, and wipe out polio worldwide.

Hood to Coast
Annual running relay spanning from the base of Mt Hood to the coastal town of Pacific City.

Judge Jack Landau for Oregon Supreme Court

Portia Project
Advocate for incarcerated women and formerly incarcerated and help them maintain contact with their children.

Sparrow Club
A national nonprofit organization that pairs schools or other youth groups with children in medical need. Sparrow Clubs allow children and young people a way to help one another. Managing shareholder Joel Kent is the Chairperson for the annual Sparrow Club Fly Fishing Derby.
