Josh S. Willis
Records Specialist
Professional Experience: Before joining Stahancyk, Kent & Hook, Josh spent several years working for the now defunct Blackwell Book Services, a once well renowned academic library vendor. Prior to Blackwell, he had an illustrious career as a pizza delivery boy that spanned well over a decade.
Education:
- Colquitt County High School - Moultrie, GA. 1995
- Valdosta State University - Valdosta, GA. History. 2002
- University of South Florida - Tampa, FL. 2006
Professional Activities: Josh has been a member of both the Oregon Library Association and the Georgia Library Association, although he has regrettably let his membership with both lapse.
Community Involvement: osh likes to volunteer for Skaters for Portland Skateparks on their annual Pier Park cleanup. He also has been known to help patch up the legendary Burnside Skatepark and makes it a point to pick up trash whenever he's there. Josh likes to give any extra cash he has to the Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon, which traps feral cats, spays and neuters them, and then returns them to the wild (i.e.the city!). He thinks you should help them out too!
Interests: Josh lives for skateboarding and probably obsesses about it a little too much. When he is taking a break from skating (i.e. injured), he enjoys painting/drawing, mashing through heavy traffic on his bicycle, and kicking it with his girlfriend (who skates as well!) and their two cats.
